Cuando intento logearme el servidor me responde

al ejecutar mysql --user=vftp --password=PASS --host=127.0.0.1 ispcp conecta correctamente y hay usuarios en la tabla ftp_users.
he intentado con diferentes configs, tanto de svn (como de ubuntu y debian), como de algunos posts acá en el foro. También he reinstalado y purgado.
Ha sido entretenido instalar ispcp, primero luchar con fascgi (el que tuve que instalar desde los sources), lo mejor es que el correo ha funcionado excelente.
