extremly slow Server

Just wanted to ask why the server of this forum is so damn slow?

U may can start a "donate action" for a faster Server and/or put some advertisment on this page.

Beacause it's realy annoying to surf on this Website, when it's always that slow.

I can confirm this too, especially the Trac System isn't usable for days, I always get database-related errors (DB didn't respond in 20sec, etc.)

If there's any possibility to do some load balancing with other servers, let me / us know ...

Sometimes the server is carrying out cron and backup operations. Usually this is chosen at times when the site is least active. In most cases, this should not last more than an hour. If you notice the slow speed for a prolonged period (hours/days) please don't hesitate to inform us again so we can investigate.

I don't know at which times you do your backups, crons etc. but the server is mostly at the "german prime time" so damn slow.

Same thing here, not all the time but yesterday at approx. 0, 2 and 4 am, and today at 0 and 2 and 2:30 pm

I got the "Screen of dead" this evening a few times

Also noticed that the Server wasn't reachable at all last night.
