Awstats traffic > Domain statics traffic ???
I've finally got some production sites up and running on my ispCP server, and have come across some issues with the traffic reporting.

If I login as the server admin to ispCP, I see 452.88 MB total transfered yesterday. This is right 'on par' with what I'd expect.

If I switch to the reseller interface, I see only about 12MB total bandwidth used for the month (this is the only reseller on the system).

If I drill down further to the domain which is using the majority of the bandwidth, I see only 2.18 MB of WEB traffic yesterday. If i go into awstats, I see 136.85 MB for this same domain on the same day.

Is there something quirky going on with the bandwidth reporting?

I'm running a build after RC7, and I've reviewed the CHANGELOG since then, and don't see any traffic related fixes, other than one for POP3.

Anyone else seeing this discrepancy?

Reseller traffic is sum of client traffic. In admin you see all traffic for server (including GUI). Not always servers traffic can be assigned to an user, so not always traffic can be the same. Also there are some bugs in traffic scripts that must be corrected (alias and subdomain traffic).

RE: Awstats traffic > Domain statics traffic ???
sci2tech, thanks for the clarification on that piece.

I'm fine with the sum of reseller traffic being less than the server traffic, for the reasons you stated. However my main issue is that a domain (with no subdomains, and no aliases) reports in awstats that it used over 100MB of traffic for a given day. In Domain Statistics this same domain shows like 5MB of traffic for the day. Is there a known bug that would cause this?

I'm running mod_deflate... Is it only logging the compressed data being sent maybe??

Thats clearly a bug. Awstats extract data from same logs as domain log, so same values must be showed in both. I`ll try to find what the problem is.

Let me know if you need any server logs/etc... to diagnose the problem.

Thanks,

same problem here. The access-log has size 31MB, but the statistic-page shows 5MB.

I believe this bug that I created got closed as a duplicate of another, however I think they are 2 separate issues.

Sci2tech, can you please confirm that this issue will be fixed by the other bug?

Thanks,

It`s same bug. As a matter of fact, all traffic engine must be rewritten Smile.
