stupid me - please help

I just deed a stupid think. By mistake I chmod 777 on /var/run

can someone provide a recursive ls on /var/run ? Or o solution ? Http is returning 503 error, proftpd not working

please help

as far as I can see, most files are 755... Did you try a restart? The pid-files will be regenerated afaik.

Yeah thats right and with 777 there should be no problem with starting services... except the security issue of course...

you may want to delete all under files:
/var/run/apache2/fastcgi (there are sockets in there which can get confused when there rights are changed by an over-motivated admin ;-))

I reinstalled mysql and I dont receive any 503, but a blank page.

ispcp admin is returning: Connection failed: could not find driver

How can I fix this ?

Turn display_errors to On in php.ini.. then you can see, if the connection failed because user/pass is wrong or if there isn't any possibility to connect to the DB-server.

(I know, I only guess what it can bee, but I have no idea at the moment)
