Sad RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo
(03-11-2009 12:16 AM)rbtux Wrote:  dirty hack is just when they delegate prefixes smaller /24 to your ns... Just altering the ptr should be a task of 1 minute...

well after more than half an hour of discussions they gave me the final solution: i have to make a request for a new ip address :|.

apparently they say it's very complicated to make the changes in order to show only one line (98.56.96.80.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mail.greenbit.ro.) because they do not own the whole ip class.

so tomorrow i'm going to make the request, they'll assign me a new ip address, i'll have to regenerate the ispcp config files with the new ip and hopefully everything will work as it should.

thanks again for your support and i'll post the results after my ip is changed.

i would, but they have the most affordable prices (8mbps@45$/month) and the other isps in this town are total thieves.

i'll wait until they change my ip and see the results...

I used to think to think that Bulgarian ISP are thieves but ,apparently, Romanian once are better. They sell me 12 mbps@20 BGN (~ 10 EUR) dedicated line.

RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo

Before blaming ISPCP verifies that reptuacion your MTA is good and correct.

This is not to change the IP ips if you are good, otherwise you have to look at listings that appear SPAM and cleaning.

neither of the ips the first and this one apper in any Blacklist.

Checking 81.196.57.173 against 122 known blacklists...
Listed: 0 time(s)

this spam thing only happens on yahoo :|

Found an interesting thing while analizing the headers from an yahoo mail:
Quote:# From IP From Domain Country By Time (GMT) Msg ID Rcvd With Time

RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo
In senderbase

You must register your IP in your system

Yu IP not reputation or nop is an assessment, Yahoo uses SenderBase to evaluate the submittals, if you're not on that list either your postings will be rejected.

http://www.senderbase.org/senderbase_que...196.57.173

Note Yahoo

u make it easier for Yahoo! Mail to determine the IP address' reputation. This way a delivery decision can be made that will have the best chances of pleasing both you and (more importantly, in this case) your recipients.

I had to put my new ip ranges in order to send SenderBase smoothly.
