Migrate ISPCP from Etch to Ubuntu server with gnome?
Hello all, long time no post.. Smile

I currently have a perfect working setup on Debian Etch. I would like to make a duplicate(for eventual migration) of this on an Ubuntu 8.10 server running gnome. I know a GUI should nto really be present on a server, but this server onily has 8 websites with not too much traffic on it, and i want to use it asa video encoder too...

Its a HP DC5800 with 4 gigs RAM and a dual core Intel core2, i will also make it a raid 1

Is there anything i should be aware of?

My intention is to simply install fresh ispcp and then copy over the ispcp database, and files from /var/www/* , /etc/apache2, /etc/postfix, /etc/ispcp, /etc/courrier, /etc/proftpd, /etc/passwd & group

Anything else?

Thanks to all...

Have a good one

Hello

Even you are missing several things, dns, mysql, log and mailboxes

var / lib / mysql
var / log
var / mail / virtual
/ etc / bind / cache

I think courrier, proftpd, postfix will not need them because they are installed on your system when you re-mount the panel
