named.conf getting corrupted

Hi,

Everytime I add a domain or subdomain, dns dies.

Upon investigation I find the top portion of the file is duplicated 3 times.

in /var/log/daemon.log
I see
Mar 16 10:58:58 joe named[27629]: /etc/bind/named.conf.options:31: 'options' redefined near 'options'
Mar 16 10:58:58 joe named[27629]: loading configuration: already exists
Mar 16 10:58:58 joe named[27629]: exiting (due to fatal error)


Once I delete the duplicated lines, bind starts fine.

How is this file being built and how do I clean the templates to fix this problem.
