Question master-ftp
Hi everyone,

I'm very new to this kind of webhosting. Yesterday I bought my first VPS and I installed ispCP. Now I have the administrator interface running and added a domain.
I still have a question:

Is it possible to add a master-ftp account which I can use to manage the whole server. So I can login once and have acces to all the useraccounts and the folder where the CP is placed?

I hope somebody know the answer on my question.

Thanks,
Stephan

RE: master-ftp
And a work-around like manually add a user to one of proFTPd .conf files? Is that an option?
I really need to get access to all the accounts.

RE: master-ftp
For that is used SSH, if you are not comfortable with the console WINSCP can use a graphical interface that helps you transfer files and navigate through your server.

http://winscp.net/eng/docs/interfaces

You only need to connect to the system as root or with an account with privileges to access / var / www / virtual
