RE: plesk vs. ispcp omega
SysCP should be added...
I somewhere have a list with other openSource Panels...

I'd keep the comparising table more short...
e.g. " View latest visitors" is not a function of the panel - its awstats...
(and where the heck has ispcp a webalizer???). There's no need to put everything possible in the list and add a "X" - every opensource panel can be extended with theese tools... - a line with the license should be ok.

upd:
aother panels that are not too outdated (free or at least a free part):
http://www.gplhost.com
http://www.alternc.org
http://hostingsoftware.net
http://www.ravencore.com
http://www.ispman.net
http://www.petunial.de - hm, well... :-)
http://gnupanel.org/

and maybe the comparising table should be on wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Control_Pan...b_Hosting)

-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_...rol_panels

/Joxi

PS: thanks for 1.0.0 :-)

RE: plesk vs. ispcp omega
I lost my Wiki account - till I have the whole password recovery done I'll just post here:
Quote:Account Services Manager: http://www.acctmgr.com
is dead as can be, no development since Jan 2002.

Quote:ispControl
should be in the list in both versions, as the new version 3 is not a mere update, but a complete rewrite (with API and many more stuff)

New points to compare:
Quote:SSH Access
WebDAV
SSL shared
SSL standalone
mod_rewrite
API for remote control
monitoring included

Confixx still has to be in it, because although it is officially not under development anymore it still is - it's just to popular in Europe. Approx. every other Host still uses confixx. Part because it's cheap, part because it's that much easier to use than Plesk.

I think another criterion for web admin software is resource requirements! Foremost RAM... this is escpecially important for people with lower end vservers...
