Problem Upgrade rc6->final

Hallo zusammen,
nach nem lenny upgrade und versuch von rc6->final upgrade(http://www.isp-control.net/documentation...pgrade/rc) häng ich fest.
am anfang kam immer root passwort für mysql falsch hatte dann in der ispcp.conf probiert und nun nur noch das:

Bitte sagt mir das ich nich schon wieder alles neu machen muss
Backup is fott ein reboot sei dank nur die config backups in /var/www/ispcp/backups sind noch da.

Das db.sql-File in /tmp war korrupt.

Sicher, dass deine Festplatte in Ordnung ist? Teste das erst mal durch, danach starte die Installation (inklusive Make) neu.

danke jetzt bin ich soweit wie am anfang:
Upgrading database structure...ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
failed!

ich habe dazu viele threads gefunden leider hilft mir keiner dabei so richtig.

Sooo habs hinbekommen. Für alle die sich ihr Passwort wie ich zerstört haben (das DB Passwort aber noch wissen bzw geändert haben).
löscht die /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf.old
löscht bzw ändert in der /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf die Zeile
DATABASE_PASSWORD = verschlüsselterPasswortKey
in
DATABASE_PASSWORD =
wechselt in das verzeichnis
/var/www/ispcp/engine
Und startet dort:
perl ispcp-db-passwd
Danach gebt ihr das Passwort neu ein
Nun kopiert ihr die /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf nach /etc/ispcp.conf.old
Startet das Update wieder. Sollte nun durchlaufen.

Der Fehler kam übrigens zu stande da in den DB Keys ´ und ` vorkam warum auch immer
