Apache log files
Hi
I would like to ask a question.

What is the purpose of the /var/log/apache2/domain-combined.log file,
which has the same content as /var/log/apache2/user/domain-access.log,
and is rotated at the same time?

RE: Apache log files
/var/log/apache2/user/domain-access.log is the ApacheLog for the Customer Log.
/var/log/apache2/domain-combined.log is used for the traffic count

RE: Apache log files
Okay, I understand. But if this 2 files have same content, why don't use one of them? Or maybe I should disable logrotate for /var/log/apache2/*log?

They don't have the exact same content. Combined log includes failing pages (http response 4xx and 5xx), whereas acces log only shows OK (http 2xx) pages.

No, it's ok to rotate both of them.
