pure-ftp and cannot browse for folder via web interface

Hi I'm using ispcp 1.0 and have been using pure-ftp for a while now with no issues. I now have a problem with pure-ftp in that I cannot browse for folders from the ispcp interface - I can see this error in the logs;

Aug 20 14:50:29 ispcp pure-ftpd: (?@127.0.0.1) [WARNING] Authentication failed for user [tmp_4a8d62b53f1bd@adomain.co.uk]

Can anyone suggest what I need to change in order to allow these temporary logins in pure-ftp?

Normally the temporary logins are in the ftp-tables (ftpusers and group) in the ispcp-db. so check theese tables with pureftp.

Hi I checked the ftp tables ftp_user and ftp_group but none contain any tmp users I can only see the ones created for various domains by users.

Please can you advise I cannot work out how to fix this!

They are only temporary - so in the moment when you try it.
If still not there, then ther's something wrong with ispcp (or something I don't know of..)

ok I see that when I go to browse a folder the tmp_ user is indeed added to the ftp_users DB and then dissapears. However I still get that error in the log saying authentication failed

I don't know how pureftp get's the user information.
