should run on the debian Firmware - maybe not alle packages are available for ARM Processor...
But they are not to fast... (IIRC 64MB Ram - is not to much...)

your too short with ressources on that box. Only 32Mb Ram is not enough i think.
But theoretically it will work - you just need a lot swap - space but that shouldn't be a problem on a NAS

If you run debian on it, you have to put it on a usb-stick (or a harddrive) - this will do it also for swap... ... theoretically....

I've just order a little box like that to make a personal server ( and a web server :-), so i'll try to install it and tell you if it's work !!! of course it's absolutly unnecessary to have a soft like ispCp but it will try

Of course i don't hope the performance of a Quad-Xeon with 16 Gb of memory but it would be funny if that worked

Sure!
I have one of theese boxes and did some tests. It's a pity: either you leave the installed firmware on it and have the latest gui on it or you put a slithly older open firmware on it where it is possible to make little changes (but still with the gui) or then you install another firmware on it with much more possibilities but you will need some usb-storage for it... (and you also loose the webgui - need to setup your own webgui)...

But if i install the debian-firmware ... so i'll have debian on it and even if it's slow, i have an access throught ssh ( like every server i mean ), so i don't need the webgui of the default firmware .. you know what i mean .. a server which need only 5 W ( power needed ) it's a good thing for the environnement isn't it, ( let's return to our old 56 k modem !!!! )

if you want to use it as a web/mailserver then this might be ok.
If you want to use it as a NAS then you rather keep the actual webgui and live with the restrictions...
I'm also interested if ispcp works on a NSLU2

Well, it seems to work !! slow for the moment !! and sometimes i've an error 500 ! ( i think it's a timeout problem )

I've uncomment #SKIPINOODB in mysql config so now i can access to the GUi of ispcp ... ( Without any error !!! )

but i don't know how can i boost performance so if anybody can help
