SMTP 550 5.1.1 Recipient adress rejected

SMTP-Fehler: 550 5.1.1 <weber2@xxxx.de>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table.

I checked the MX records they are okay.

xxxxx.de. 3600 IN MX 10 xxxxxxx.de.

this email accounts worked until i changed the "forward to".
in next step i disabled the "forward to" and set all normal.

now the accounts couldnt recieve any mail , see error above.

i also noticed when changing e-mail things in ispcp then

courier-imapd-ssl

and

courier-pop3d-ssl

get stopped and where not fired up again.

I am on Gentoo Linux here.

Any ideas ?

Have a look in the relevant postfix files:

/etc/postfix/ispcp/*
(or the chroot and/or gentoo-pendant)

look for the mail address in "mailboxes" and "aliases"

then look in he ispcp database - table mail_users, search the address entry: what's the filed "status"?
