[ERLEDIGT]proftp und inetd
Hallo,
ich habe ein frisch installiertes ispCP auf Lenny (64bit) Leider musste ich feststellen, dass proftp so "out of the box" nicht läuft. Nach vielem suchen und lesen konnte ich das Prob. einkreisen und den inetd Dienst der auf Port 21 läuft festmachen. Meine Frage nun : Was soll ich machen, den Dienst auf einen anderen Port legen, deinstallieren oder irgendwas anderes? Evtl. kann mir da jemand der sich mit Debian auskennt etwas informieren.

Wie hast Du denn ProFTP eingestellt?
Hast Du Dich überhaupt an die Anleitung gehalten
Code:
7. Bei der „Proftpd Configuration“ wähle als Type „Standalone“.
Ich denke nicht das Du diesen Punkt so eingestellt hast.

Ja das Modul muss aktviert sein, da ProFTP die Zugänge aus der datenbank ausliest.
An sich sieht die Config gut aus...

Was sprechen denn die LogFiles?
Hast Du mal proftpd neu gestartet und die Logs ausgelesen?

Warum ist es denn nicht default aktiviert, wenn es doch gebraucht wird?
Ich habe es testweise mal aktiviert, nachdem ich den Hinweis hier im Forum gefunden hatte. Dann startet es aber nicht mehr:

Hier habe ich den Hinweis gesehen, dass ich inetd deinstallieren soll:

allerdings weiß ich nicht was das für Auswirkungen hat und ob es sinnvoll ist.

Speicherzugriffsfehler... Mhhhh... Ich habe da nur dunkel was in Erinnerung und bitte darum das mich jemand berichtigt, falls ich das jetzt falsch schreibe...
Du hast einen VServer, richtig?
Ich vermute ganz stark da hakt es bei Dir!

Dann deaktivier doch einfach den inet ftp dienst in der inetd.conf oder so.

Standartmässig ist das aber deaktiviert Wink
