change inbox in squirrelmail

I want change name "INBOX", "drafts" ... to my name: "xxx", "yyy" ? how?

hm... you may change drafts and maybe sent to your own names (see folder options in squirrel webmailer - there you can choose which folder has a special meaning), but the INBOX stays the same - because that's a setting in the imap server (courier).

i haven't option in squirrel webmailer. I want this trick in all users in my system. i have dovecot in server not courier. mybay i change this in dovecot, but where?

You should have Options and there you should have Folder options.

But this is only for folders like "trash", "sent", eventually "spam" or "drafts"...

You need to have a closer view in the imap server docu to find the config to set the name for "Inbox"...


I don't know why you want to change this... but I hope you know it...

i change this for clients. I don't know good english and my client nothing known english. I want folders in my national languages.

I want change name for all mailbox, not only my.

Maybe a look at squirrel config config_local.php helps...
but the inbox won't be changed...

But maybe it's easier to change the code so that certain folders are named differently (eg. thunderbird - folder on server: inbox, sent, drafts, templates, archives - but in the gui, the names are translated (Posteingang, Gesendet, Entwürfe etc).

At least the horde webmail shows a translated name for inbox...

You might be able to get a localized name by installing the Squirrelmail translations from the official Squirrelmail site.
