RE: How to speed up proftp
Individual files, or groups of files? FTP tends to be slow with lots of little files because of the way it's designed.

RE: How to speed up proftp
Hello,
To Speed up your ProFTPD, Follow the Commands:

Code:
vi /etc/proftpd.conf

add the following lines:

Code:
UseReverseDNS off
<Global>
IdentLookups off
</Global>

save the file
&
Now restart ProFTPD or Reboot

Your FTP Server should now run faster
Regards,
Mark
