Error 500 Problem
Hey,
ich habe ein Problem, denn ich bekomme sehr häufig Error 500 Meldungen. Im Allgemeinen ist mir schon aufgefallen, dass mein Server sehr lange für Anfragen braucht. Allerdings bezieht sich das nur auf Seiten, die auf PHP-Scripte zurück greifen. Reine HTML-Seiten lädt er ohne verzögerungen.
Ressourcen probleme sollte es keine geben, zumindest werden im control panel keine angezeigt und auch "top" zeigt eine recht moderate last von max 8% cpu und ram an.
Nutze Debian Lenny, apache2, php5, fcgid,

Wenn error 500 gemeldet wird bekomme ich folgendes in der error-log:

Was hast Du denn für einen Server ? Eckdaten ?
8% CPU haben eigentlich garnichts zu sagen.

Meine und viele andere Server laufen auch unter Debian Lenny, ohne Probleme.

Hast Du Apache prefork oder worker ?

Ich hab leider nur einen VServer, aber da ich dadrauf nur zwei, drei Websiten mit moderaten Zugriff (ca. 200 Zugriffe pro Tag) hoste, sollte das meiner Ansincht kein Problem sein. Abgesehen davon, hatte ich vorher die Verwaltungs Oberfläche von Parallels installiert und dort lief alles super. Ich habe mich dann aber entschieden aufgrund von persönlichen Einstellungen auf ein GPL-Project umzusteigen.

Was ich an Eckdaten geben kann:
Memory: Softlimit: 384Mb Hardlimit: 1024Mb
CPU: 384MHz zugesichert, Number of CPUs: unlimited (Das kann alles heißen..., Allerdings hat mein provider vor zwei Monaten eine Mail rumgeschickt, dass alle VServer auf neuere und leistungsfähigere Server umgezogen sind.)
