RE: very bad fcgi performance
0k buffers should be normal of virtuozzo, the system my hoster uses for vms
ehm..i'm currently not sure which apache mpm i'm using because the server keeps 6 processes, doesn't matter what i change in the prefork-mpm
is there a bullet-proof way to find out?

RE: very bad fcgi performance
Solved :-D
Simply activated the worker mpm by removing apache2-prefork(default on openSuse 11.1), now it's very fast as expected :-)
hope, this helps others, too
thanks

RE: very bad fcgi performance
I have the same problem on Debian Lenny
How can I do to desactivate apache2-prefork without removing it?

Thanks.
