Dovecot
I have changed from courier to dovecot but the link to the file ispcp-dovecot-mngr no longer works! http://www.isp-control.net/forum/attachment.php?aid=830

Can someone point me in the correct direction for this file?

Cheers

RE: Dovecot
Ups, when updating the link, just forgot to update the link in the wiki, the correct attachment is the one in this post:
http://www.isp-control.net/forum/thread-...49018.html

For the error you are posting it seems that you are using the *BSD config for postfix's master.cf (/usr/local/libexec/dovecot/deliver), but if you are on Linux, this is probably on /usr/lib/dovecot/deliver.
In any case just look at where is "deliver" and adapt master.cf accordingly

Hi Aseques,

I have done what you said but for some reason the -s within:-
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe
flags=DRhu user=vmail:mail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -f ${sender} -d ${recipient} -s

gives the following error:-

Jan 10 23:43:24 nethost postfix/pipe[5164]: E24226FC1CA: to=<shaun@XXXXX.co.uk>, relay=dovecot, delay=0.02, delays=0.01/0.01/0/0.01, dsn=5.3.0, status=bounced (command line usage error. Command output: Fatal: Unknown argument: -s Usage: deliver [-c <config file>] [-d <destination user>] [-m <mailbox>] [-n] [-e] [-f <envelope sender>] )
Jan 10 23:43:24 nethost postfix/qmgr[5121]: E24226FC1CA: removed

I am still getting Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command)) also.

RE: Dovecot
The error Domain Not Found (Sender Address rejected) is because there is no a or mx dns record for the domain of the sending mail address. (this can also be caused by wrong dns resolver configuration, but I'm not sure if postfix would use a 450 error code then...)

Verify the domain on the server using "host domain.co.uk".

The postfix parameter that causes that (correct) behavior is reject_unknown_sender_domain unter smtpd_*_restrictions in your /etc/postfix/main.cf

If your dovecot version does not recognize the -s parameter it must be quite old. If you are on debian, I would use nothing before lenny (at least on a new install), and at least dovecot 1.0.x

Dovecot Version 1:1.0.15-2.3+lenny1 ISPomega 1.0.3, i've gone through all the steps in your Howto once again but same errors, whats the easiest way to back to courier should all else fail?

Thanks

Shaun

I have installed ispcp a lot of times and never find this problem, there must be something wrong with your setup.
You could try to enable more verbosity on dovecot or start from scratch again ..
You could ignore this -s parameter too, it is basically to subscribe you to the mailboxes that are created (such as junk and so on) http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA
