erstmal danke das Du dich hier meldest!
Ich habe mir MyAmavis auch angeschaut und es könnte eine echte alternative für mich/uns sein.
Zu deiner README:

Würde es eine möglichkeit geben von der .htaccess weg zukommen und eine PHP Login-Form zu erstellen ? Mein Gedanke geht einmal an das Design was für den Kunden und dem ein oder anderen hier wohl eine wichtige Rolle spielt,
und einmal vielleicht ein automatischen Login aus einem Webmailer (z.B. RoundCube) direkt in das MyAmvis Interface.

steht in dem Fall für Postgres ?
Welche DBI ist für MySQL zu setzen, DBI:My: ?

Gibt es Language Files für das Frontend damit es in andere Sprachen übersetzen werden kann ?

Neue User in myamavis werden automatisch beim ersten Login angelegt oder durch den Admin ?

Wie können Benutzer gelöscht werden ?

Policies sollten wenn möglich auch gelöscht werden können.

Ich finde deine Arbeit sehr gut und sehe es als echte, bessere Alternative zu Maia an.
