DNS control (Experimental 1.0.4)
Hello all,
I'm trying to setup a new CNAME entry for a domain I host. The actual webpages are served on another server and I've setup a manual entry pointing to the server.

I notice in the /var/cache/bind/mydomain.db on my server the new entry has been created at the bottom of the file. The original entry still exists thus the domain is not resolving to the new server.

Is this normal behavior? Should it remove the old entries??

Thanks,

Rob

I think this is why its called experimental... :-/

the manual dns entries were built on top of the older static dns entries....

maybe you need to remove the old lines manually (keep an eye on the working copy of the zone file).
