ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template?
Hi All,

we are currently using ispCP to host a number of websites and their corresponding DNS. As we have a number of redundant DNS servers, as well as some extra default records we wish each domain to have, I have edited the /etc/ispcp/bind/parts/db_master_e.tpl file and adjusted the records accordingly.

However, when I create the domain in ispCP, the file doesn't appear to get read. I just get the default file that i would normally get if i hadn't customized the db_master_e.tpl. I have restarted the ispCP daemon, bind, and the entire server but still get the same result. I have attached both the db_master_e.tpl file, as well as an example resulting BIND zone file.

Have I done something wrong?

Cheers.

.txt  db_master_e.tpl.txt (Size: 1.76 KB / Downloads: 11)
.txt  test.domain.com.db.txt (Size: 1.67 KB / Downloads: 14)

You must regenerate configuration to implement changes in templates

RE: ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template?
Hi there,

I have attempted the advised procedure but the result is still the same, for both existing and new domains created.

Any other ideas I can try?
