install an other language ?
Hi,

I just tried to install an other language into ispCP via admin -> Settings -> Internationalisation.

I downloaded the de_DE.po file and tried to upload it but it says "Uploaded file is not a valid language file!"

The po converter from the development pages is down:
http://atomo64.puffinhost.com/ispcp/poconverter.php

How do I get ispCP in german ?? Smile

Thanks!

/E

Hello ;

The portable object files are not used for now. From the ispCP frontend, you should upload a text version of the language file available here or in the ispCP archive.

I've just finished a Persian (Farsi) translation of *.po file (actually based on your French translation, Laurent and using this guidehttp://isp-control.net/documentation/dev...ranslation).
I come across this thread having the very same problem as Eminos'. What should I do now with fa_IR.po to make use of it?

P.S. I just figured out I used an outdated guide. I should have used this instead:
http://isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/translations/howto
Does this mean that 1 week of my translation work was just in vein? Sad

Hello

No no, don't worry. Post your .po file. We will take care of it.

RE: install an other language ?
Hi,

I copied Persian and fa_IR.po from the translations page into my source file, but I am not sure what to do next to activate them, as the translation howto does not say anything about this, and I could not find hints elsewhere.

Also, the only 'Panel default language' in admin settings is English, and I could find any hint on how to change it, so I appreciate your clarifications.

Hello

Go to http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/admin/multilanguage.php and then, install the language (text) file.

Thanks Laurent, I could install the language file. I think this line must be added to the translation guide. It is essential and not self-evident.
