im not to sure and this is only my second day testing so i may need to edit some settings, i guess we will see but i havent received anything yet and i did send it this morning wich is about 11 hours ago now

nah checked, im thinking of setting up a single server for a mail server but i dunno how to yet seen as i have never done it

I've done this, worked quite successfully as well. Had a problem separating the mysql server though thats unrelated and Raphael is looking into that lol.

Requires some messing about initally but does work.

When I get the whole lot working (separate web, mail and database) I will get it typed up Smile won't be this week now though

yeah im getting alot of 500 errors too lol, its quite annoying at times... wellto be honest its annoying at all times lol


its kool i can wait its not a major rush yet i just prefer to have it on a seperate server thinking of using this spare poweredge 2550 i have got, 2gb ram and 2 x p3 processor think it would be enough to handle the mail server loads ?

Yeah should do depending on the load of course. Doesn't require a lot to host email. (If you remember back in the day, email servers were running on much lower spec hardware then we consider old **** today.
