RE: mailserver
Well, this is the main task for greylisting:
first try: temp failure
second try (and all further tries from the same ip & mailaddress): accept the mail

every sending mailserver should be able to handle this and send the mail again.

RE: mailserver
yes...it is sending mail again, the only problem is that that it sends if after 1 hour and as far as i know you can't make the retry more earlier on qmail

RE: mailserver
hm - I'm sure there is a patch for qmail... :-)
(there is a qmail patch for everything)...

seriously - this should be possible...

This is one disadvantage of greylisting - but as mentioned above - after one accept it shouldn't be greylisted anymore (same sender ip, sender address, recipient addres)

RE: mailserver
You can see the retry schedule table for qmail here: http://www.lifewithqmail.org/lwq.html#retry-schedule

Basicly, the second deliver should be tried 6' 40'' after the first...

RE: mailserver
Ok, what are the logs saying?
Is a second retry done after 6 Minutes? and a third after 26 Min?
If so, then yahoo want's to wait at least more than that, maybe 30 Min...???

Well, this is "a long time" for an email...
