apache fails to start after ubuntu upgrades!

Hi all...I need your help please..
i run ispcp on an ubuntu server,and every time i update my OS,apache fails to start automatically...
also,if for any reason i restart the server,same thing...apache does not run...

i see many records in my system services like apache2.1,apache2.2,apache2.3 etc....

what the hell is going on?

It happend to me the same, all are copies of 0kb, only one is good, for me the apache2.1 is good, make a cat apache2 if is blank delete it, and mv apache2.1 apache2 and you have the correct one, i dont know why, but it happend to me too.
