Virtual servers deleted. How to get them back
Hi
I was changing my system ip adress with your manual in here. Everything was working except a couple of pages og i was using webmin to check the ip adresses of the virtual server in apache. Then i really screwed up and accidently deleted them all :-/ There was some not in use any more and i wanted to delete them and then it went all wrong.

I have a Debian Lenny with ispcp 1.0.7

Now is there anyway i can get them back in an easy way? Any help would be very appriciated. I really dont know where to begin. I cant even get into the admin area.

Kris the embaressed

I get errors like this in the error.log
[Wed Mar 16 21:01:41 2011] [notice] mod_fcgid: process /var/www/virtual/zoosalon.dk/htdocs/salon/index.php(3689) exit(communication error), terminated by calling exit(), return code: 255

Now i get this when i try to start apache:

Starting web server: apache2apache2: Syntax error on line 281 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/: No such file or directory
failed!

The folder sites-enabled and ispcp.conf are now made. Is the anyway to copy the virtual server over there?

Could it be the /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ispcp.conf file? How should it look?

The /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf look rightly configured with all my virtual hosts and with ispcp

Normally there's a backup (or more specific: the original) of the apache config in /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf

and you also have backups in /var/www/ispcp/backup/*

and btw:
the files in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled are symlinks to files in /etc/apache2/sites-available ... so do also make use of symlinks - because ispcp replaces the file in sites-available... :-)

It worked!!! All the sites are back online Big Grin Thank you!!!

Now the only problem is that i cant login to ispcp. When i put my web adress for the ispcp server xxxxx.com im being redirected to a customer page on the server.

Where do i change that?
Could it be something in the database after changing the server ip?

try "apache2ctl -S" to see which vhosts (including the master-site/ispcp-login) are configured on which ip.

depending on what is written, you have to decide how to continue...

what if you browse to http://1.2.3.4 (ip address of the ispcp)... ?
