Two domains one site?
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone could help out?

I need to setup domain1.com and domain2.net on the same server using the same /htdoc directory and control panel for hosting. Is this possible with ISP CP ?

Many Thanks,

Rob

RE: Two domains one site?
You should be able to add the second domain as an alias of the first one, using the same (/htdocs) mount point...

RE: Two domains one site?
Great thanks. Trouble is I get a "Incorrect mount point syntax!" when I try and use /htdocs as the mount point??? Any other mount point works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob

RE: Two domains one site?
Enter "/" as mount point and the system use /htdocs

RE: Two domains one site?
Two domains for one website is not in and of itself a bad thing. I have tons of domains for my one website. But problems can arise if your additional domain is simply a parked alias of your main domain and it somehow gets indexed by the search engines.

Thanks for the tip Wink
In my case its a temporary solution until they migrate their other domain over to the new .com domain.
