Hi,

while it's neat that when you search for "x-panel" thousands of results show up, it's a bit sad that virtually nothing refers to *this* X-Panel. I even accidently surfed to xpanel.com, which is a ...free hosting system :-\

So, before it's too late and "x-panel" gets into every single .asp^W.php file in our tree, we might come up with something better, shouldn't we?

How about...
  - Shrapnel
    (while I despise the relation to ammunition, it looks like "...panel" when I
     take off my glasses ;))
  - RHCS (the Real (not virtual) Hosting Control System)
  - ${buzzword}HCS, like Open*, Free*, supaL33t* and so on...

Oh, I wouldn't go there...we can rename it to s-panel after a year without being mentioned on bugtraq every week (this implies having a huge userbase of course ;))

s-panel as in "smart panel" would be less fussy, methinks. but spanel.{com|de} is already taken.

I was intending to compile content and forums to provide specific and PROPER support for the vhcs2 system. as I was having a hell of a time tryin to get anywhere on vhcs,net.

Well... you can still do that but for the new panel. I think its important not to spread information for the new one all over the www as it has been with vhcs2 (everybody thought to create his own Wiki / Docu, whatsoever, most of the sources were completely outdatet).
