[Solved] Change SERVER_HOSTNAME
Hi all,

after I moved my complete ispCP installation to another system, I want to change the SERVER_HOSTNAME and BASE_SERVER_VHOST (both in /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf).
Is there anything to pay attention on when doing this? Can I just change them and restart the ispcp-daemon?

Greetings
FeG

RE: Change SERVER_HOSTNAME
Changing in ispcp.conf does not do anything important.

the base_sever_host you have to change in the 00_master (apache config), the server_name you maybe have to change something in main.cf of postfix.

Please make copies of the changed files to /etc/ispcp/postix(or apache2)/working so that the changes are not recovered with the next ispcp-update-run...

Hi joximu,

joximu Wrote:Changing in ispcp.conf does not do anything important.

the reason why I want to change these settings is at first that the ispCP - Log emails are still named with the old hostname - is this changed by the ispcp.conf file or does I have to change another file, too?

Greetings

That's not the point... I mean the mail subjects, like:

"ISPCP 1.0.0 RC2 OMEGA on hostname.domain.de"

Where does this hostname etc. is taken from?
