RE: VHCS Omega vs ispCP
Guys, as you can see my "prophecy" about complains over naming issues became reality!

As I told, the main page of the project should give a CLEAR information about

1) what is VHCS Omega and what is IspCP
2) Why you visit isp-control.net and get what you should get from vhcs-omega.net instead (how about a second domain with cloacked redirection?)
3) the relation betwen the two project!

Moreover, digibyte, I still miss the information abour HOW to post on the FAQ system. Is me so stupid or you didn't released them yet? ^__^'

My first intention was to rapidly open some topic in the FAQ to explain all this!
What about? I'm I supposed to be able to do that as said in the mailing-list?

Thank you all a lot! Bye bye!

Yeah, sorry for the delay. We're busy with configuring the FAQ system. But in the meanwhile you can send me your topics for the FAQ by mail (pieter [dot] verhaeghe [at] gmail [dot] com). I will send you a message when the FAQ system is ready.
Thanks for your input. Smile

RE: VHCS Omega vs ispCP
Since there has been a change in circumstances, I would like to revisit this topic.

My original suggestion still stands:
1) Name the control panel ispCP OMEGA (and then each subsequent release give it a new name, much like Debian/Ubuntu release names).
2) Name the multi server framework ispCP Enterprise x.xx (use a static name for this and just increment the version numbers as the product evolves, much like Ubuntu Server family release names).

RE: VHCS Omega vs ispCP
your idea is nice, but i see one problem. The letter omega is the last letter in the greek alphabet. So, how should the name change, if e,g a new version is out?
