also ich habe zuhause bis auf dem rechner meiner frau nur noch ubuntu auf den anderen drauf und komme eigentlich sehr gut damit zurecht.
entweder ist das image vom vserver sehr komisch, es ist ein bug im ispcp oder ich stell mich einfach zu dämlich an.

auf der vmware maschine hatte alles reibungslos funktioniert aber auf diesem vserver klappt ja fast garnichts...................

wenn mal jemand zeit und lust hat dann bitte bei mir per pn melden, so dass man eventuell was darüber fachsimpeln kann.

Was für eine Distri benutzt Du denn jetzt? Das ein Bug in ispCP ist glaube ich nicht. Dann wärst Du nicht der einzige mit dem Problem

auf dem vserver läuft debian etch

Ich habe exakt dasselbe Problem, keine Ftp Verbindung und Ipv6 Fehler.

Vor ca. 2 Monaten selber Server, ein aktueller Trunk und alles lief ohne Probleme. So nun hab ich gestern den Server neuinstalliert (Debian 4 Etch), wegen paar andere Probleme (mein Backup hatte auch diese Fehler drin also blieb mir nichts anderes übrig). Und nun hab ich exakt dieses Probleme mit IPv6 Fehler und keinen Ftp zugriff, bei proftpd, hosts und hostname ist eigentlich alles richtig eingetragen.
Hab also „UseIPv6 off“ in die proftpd.conf eingetragen danach war der ipv6 Fehler weg , nachdem hab ich nun ISPCP installiert. Die Installation verlief Fehlerfrei.
Nach der Installation hatte ich allerdings keinen ipv6 Fehler mehr, obwohl ja die conf Dateien überschrieben wurden und „UseIPv6 off“ nicht mehr drinsteht.

In der log steht das proftpd ohne Fehler startet.
Bei einen Verbindungsversuch kommt dieses Meltung in die Log:

Ist das normal das in der proftpd.conf nobody und nogroup steht?

Gibt es noch irgendeine Log die ich übersehen habe? Was ich in den Logs gefunden habe sagt ja nicht gerade viel aus. Hab nach der englischen Doku installiert.
