Apache Placeholder Page at admin.domain.com

Question Apache Placeholder Page at admin.domain.com
I fully installed ispCP but once it was done going to admin.domain.com took me to the apache place holder page which is also at http://www.domain.com.
how do I fix this?

I see this Page for the first time Smile. Did you follow the guide step by step???? When you enter you IP does the Placeholder Page also shown??

yeah i followed it.
when i enter my ip it comes up with the placeholder too

This sometimes happens if you install the domain you used for the admin page (admin.host.domain.tld -> but you use: admin.domain.tld) and then install the domain.tld as a customer in ispcp.

You have to manually edit the /etc/apache/sites-available/ispcp.conf and remove the *.domain.tld in the ServerAlias line... - don't foregt to do this also in /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf

then you should go with admin.domain.tld to your ispcp... (after an apache reload...)

I also had this problem, and currently only able to access the admin by going to domain.tld as it's the only place that shows the login page.

I will try joximu's suggestion above and see if I can fix it Smile
