Password on statistics ?
Hi,

Is there a way to put a password on awstats? I know this has been discussed, and that there is a ticket for this. But is there at least a way for the customer to password protect the /stats directory manually?
If not, is there a way for the customer to inactivate the /stats directory?

Is there a better way to do this? Maybe to make the statistics only work when you login to the control panel, not via /stats directory ?

RE: Password on statistics ?
If you are talking about RatS (?) workaround for putting passwords, I know about that.

Is there an other way? Or:
"..a way for the customer to password protect the /stats directory manually?
If not, is there a way for the customer to inactivate the /stats directory?"

RE: Password on statistics ?
If you use static AWStats, users can protect their statistics-directory with a normal .htaccess-password-protection.

RE: Password on statistics ?
Alright, cool, thanks. 2 questions.

Is there no way for the customer to deactivate or to manually password protect the statistics when running dynamic Awstats?
If not...
Is there a way to change from dynamic to static mode (I choose dynamic when installing ispcp), and what is the difference in practice?
