No, I followed the guide step by step!

I'm using an older nightly build to upgrade to RC3 now. That build was released around 25th july, so after the RC2c release, but a long time before RC3. Don't know, if that could be the problem.

RE: Update RC2c to RC3
It's not possible to upgrade from a nightly to RC3 with the UpgradeScript. It's only possible from RC2x to RC3.

That's bad news Sad Isn't there a way to manually upgrade it ?

You could got through the update script - it's not very complicated and perform the steps needed... - the most iomportant may be the sql file - there you could remove the fields/tables you already have...

RE: Update RC2c to RC3 failure
Hello people

I just noticed there is maybe a way that mysql does not stop when a duplicate entry occurs:
Code:
INSERT IGNORE INTO `config` (`name`, `value`) VALUES
the IGNORE should well "ignore" errors while inserting...

If soemone could check that - this would make update a littlebit easier (for the guys who have en nightly > rc2c)

Hm too late Sad I opened the update script and went through every step by hand. RC3 is now running smoothly.

But maybe another nightly-to-RC3 victim could test this... Smile

any ways to upgrade from a RC2-daily-build to RC3 ? Just by keeping domain, email, ftp users, mysql domain databases ?
