Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hi
Im running a server with Debian Lenny and ispcp rc7. The problem i have is that i cant connect with ftp. All the users have that problem. In my log file it says that there is no such user found.
What could be the problem?

Start your ProFTPDd in the Debug Modus.
You will find them via the search here in the Forum.
We discussed this many many times.

Looks like your proftpd is still running! Please stop your current ProFTD and start it once again in the Debug mode.

Thats a bug of the RC7 it doesn't write the configs right at debian lenny while installing.
So it would be the easiest way to install a nightly build, if you do not have any clients etc. on your server.

I do have clients Sad

Is there a way for me to configure them manually? I dont have so many that need ftp access.

Fine! When you are in Debug Modus, try to connect with a client to the Server. Then we will see more and the Error!

Looks like mod_sql / mod_mysql isn´t loaded in your Config.
There should be some Threads around here in the Forum about this problem.

I know that it was sci2tech who fixed that issue, you may write him a PM and ask him if he still knows how to fix it.

Or you have a look at the tickets of rc 7, there must be the solution also, if it's the problem i mean.
