question regarding DNS
I need to ask this, as i have several clients interested in my hosting, however they already have mail exchanges.

So i'm wondering if ispCP is designed to over-write any DNS zone files ? Once i create the domain, I can i go into the dns zone file, edit it so that the mx records point to the correct location, and not expect it to be over-written ?

Thanks in advance.

RE: question regarding DNS
after editing the .db file/s you need to copy the modified one/s to /path/to/ispcp/bind/working
That way they won't be overwritten (but if you force the domain files regeneration they will be overwritten).

So in other words, there's always going to be that chance it'll get over-written.

Might I suggest someone include DNS zone configuration options in ispCP ? PLESK has it and you can have 100% total control over DNS zones.. this could be useful in ispCP as well.
