Newbie with an issue - Can't see the login page & it dies after server reboot
Sad
I know that this may be somewhere and if I deeply look I'll find a solution to it.
I followed step by step this
http://www.isp-control.net/documentation...ion/centos
But after installing, I cannot see the login page at admin.mydomain.com
I got an "address not found" page when I enter it in any of my browsers.
My domain is pointing to my server's IP address and I'm using CentOS 5.3
If someone can point me somewhere where I can fix this, and also, I would like to ask if you have documentation in spanish and portuguese.
I speak both languages also and can help with the translation.

Thank you.

RE: Newbie with an issue - Can't see the login page!!!
try just the ip address

http://ip1.ip2.ip3.ip4 of your server.

if this works its a dns problem with admin.yourdomain.tld

RE: Newbie with an issue - Can't see the login page!!!
its important that on the machine you have your browser, the name admin.domain.com can be resolved to the right ip.

So, either do it internally (only on this machine, add a line in the host file) or use real domain names and real dns in the internet so everyone could use the name...

OK
I solved the admin.mydomain.com by creating a new CNAME at my registrar
I got one final question (I hope)
If I reboot my server the Panel don't come back and all the ebsites are offline.
Any idea????

Have you pointed your system with A record
Code:
admin IN A ip
?

Or maybe your apache is not working. Try "netstat -nap" to see open ports and connections.

Big Grin RE: Newbie with an issue - Can't see the login page & it dies after server reboot
Thanks for all the help
This is what I did:

First, gave up on CentOS and installed Debian5 on the server (I can do this because I work at the Data Center hahaha), because I found it easy and less steps to get it done.

Created an A record to point "admin" to @ in my registrar

And now I'm learning on how to deal with the setup for email account and other stuffs.

As said before, thanks all for the suggestion.

You rock!!!
