FTP - Error

Hello, I have a problem with automatic granting of rights for users's directorys. When users connect to theirs www accounts by ftp, they can read files only. Files writing and etc is working only from root account.

Everything is working when I do this in users's www forlder:

chown -R vu200X htdocs

so how can i fix this problem?

the permissions/owner should be ok after creating a user.

And as long as the user only uses ftp to upload/create folders etc it's ok.

If you move something in the shell directly on the server (eg. from an earlier webserver - the whole htdocs) then the permissions might be different.

Check this.
