RC5 Update problems
Hi all,

Thanks for all the work - it is looking good....

However, I updated from RC2 to RC5, and got a load of missing php.ini errors....

See the output of my upgrade (with passwords and identifying info removed for obvious reasons)...

Can anyone shed some light for me on what I need to do?

RE: RC5 Update problems
Hi All,

Just to add to that, I'm also getting:-

Error: AWStats database directory defined in config file by 'DirData' parameter (/var/cache/awstats) does not exist or is not writable.

Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.xxxxxxx.co.uk.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

When I try to check AWStats...

Any ideas?

RE: RC5 Update problems
Sorry all....

Emails also aren't coming in... See bounceback.... I know user xxxxx exists, because I can log into the webmail account and use it that way....
I should say, I have updated it to forward to my gmail account as well as working as an email address, but that should be working now - right?

Jx

RE: RC5 Update problems
Ok - the mail thing - the accounts I have added forwarders to...
They now appear with Account Type - Domain Mail Unknown Type on them....
When I log in to change them, I only get the option to change the forwarder... I can't set up the account...
I could probably delete them and recreate them (there's not many) - but how would I ensure I don't lose all the saved emails?

Cheers,

Jx

RE: RC5 Update problems
Hi,

I tried the sql query mentioned in http://www.isp-control.net/forum/ispcp-o...503-4.html
Quote:
UPDATE `domain` SET `domain_status` = 'change' WHERE `domain_status` = 'ok';
UPDATE `subdomain` SET `subdomain_status` = 'change' WHERE `subdomain_status` = 'ok';
UPDATE `domain_aliasses` SET `alias_status` = 'change' WHERE `alias_status` = 'ok';
UPDATE `mail_users` SET `status` = 'change' WHERE `status` = 'ok';
then run engine/ispcp-rqst-mngr

and ran it to fix the mail database, but it still isn't working...
Currently, on one domain, I have one email address where emails totally vanish, and two domains where I get a bounceback.
If I add a forwarder to the bounceback ones, they forward, but still bounceback - and the emails don't go into the mail box...

Should I just delete the emails addresses in the frontend, and start again?
If so, how would I put the stored emails back into the mail boxes?

Cheers,

Jx

RE: RC5 Update problems
Ok - for awstats, I just created /var/cache/awstats...

I don't know if it's actually generating data yet, but at least it is opening up...

RE: RC5 Update problems
Ok - so the php.ini thing - I "can ignore this error"...
I kept on reading it as you can't ignore this error...Wink

So I guess that one is ok...
So now it's just the email...

Anyone have any suggestions?

RE: RC5 Update problems
Hi all,

Ok - I think I've resolved it...
I had the hostname as "ispcpmailserver.co.uk" and a virtual domain as ispcpmailserver.co.uk...
I set the myhostname in the main.cf to be vps.ispcpmailserver.co.uk, restarted postfix and everything started working...

Thanks for the help,

Jx
